Nova Scotia Students Call Government Cuts Reckless

Nova Scotia students are frustrated by the Provincial Government’s decision to cut an additional 3% from the funding allocated for Universities in the 2012-2013 year. Accounting for inflation, in 2013-14 the provincial government will have cut direct transfers to universities by 19%, or $30 million, over three years.
