Tristan Bray

Executive Director As Executive Director of StudentsNS, Tristan is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization in accordance with the direction of the Board of Directors, notably as the organization’s primary spokesperson, lobbyist, and manager. Tristan comes to StudentsNS after serving as Vice President External of the Students’ Union and studying Political Science at the University of Calgary. In his role as Vice President External, Tristan was elected as National Advocacy Director of the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations and pursued advocacy and relationship building projects provincially and federally. Tristan is excited to learn more about the political landscape of Nova Scotia, and is eager to continue the work of StudentsNS in policy development and government relations. In his spare time Tristan enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, following international politics, watching Netflix, and reading great books. 

Jordan Ferguson

Policy & Advocacy Coordinator As the Policy & Advocacy Coordinator for StudentsNS, Jordan is responsible for researching and producing a new policy paper regarding an important issue facing post-secondary students. Jordan is excited to learn more about the inner workings of the higher education system as well as politics in Nova Scotia. She works closely with the Executive Director, assisting in the day to day operations of the organization. While she is entering her third year as a BSc Psychology student at Acadia University, Jordan looks forward to being a voice for students in post-secondary institutions all across the province. In her spare time Jordan can be found exploring nature, travelling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Lori-Ann Nunn

Office Manager Lori-Ann is StudentsNS' Office Manager, responsible for the organization's daily bookkeeping and for ensuring that the financial operations of the office run smoothly. With 13 years in financial and office administration in the private and non-profit sector, Lori-Ann brings a wealth of experience to her part-time role with the organization. She is a graduate of Nova Scotia Agricultural College with a diploma in Landscape Horticulture, and Nova Scotia Community College with a certificate in Business Information and Technology. In her spare time, Lori-Ann enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and singing karaoke.
