Tristan Bray

Executive Director As Executive Director of StudentsNS, Tristan is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization in accordance with the direction of the Board of Directors, notably as the organization’s primary spokesperson, lobbyist, and manager. Tristan comes to StudentsNS after serving as Vice President External of the Students’ Union and studying Political Science at the University of Calgary. In his role as Vice President External, Tristan was elected as National Advocacy Director of the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations and pursued advocacy and relationship building projects provincially and federally. Tristan is excited to learn more about the political landscape of Nova Scotia, and is eager to continue the work of StudentsNS in policy development and government relations. In his spare time Tristan enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, following international politics, watching Netflix, and reading great books. 

Nicole Wambolt

Research Coordinator In her role as Research Coordinator, Nicole manages the organizations 11 position papers on important student issues such as student financial assistance and the accessibility of post-secondary education. Throughout the summer Nicole will be researching and producing new position papers that focus on the issues of student mental health and sexual violence on post-secondary campuses in Nova Scotia. Nicole is excited to champion and advance the issues of her fellow students at Acadia University through her research and writing. Nicole is entering into her fourth year as an honours student studying Politics. In her free time you can find Nicole playing soccer for the Acadia Axewomen, watching YouTube, following politicians on Twitter, and spending time with family and friends.

Lori-Ann Nunn

Office Manager Lori-Ann is StudentsNS' Office Manager, responsible for the organization's daily bookkeeping and for ensuring that the financial operations of the office run smoothly. With 13 years in financial and office administration in the private and non-profit sector, Lori-Ann brings a wealth of experience to her part-time role with the organization. She is a graduate of Nova Scotia Agricultural College with a diploma in Landscape Horticulture, and Nova Scotia Community College with a certificate in Business Information and Technology. In her spare time, Lori-Ann enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and singing karaoke.
