The Maritime Student Congress is a leadership development conference for student association executives. The conference enhances the transition of newly elected and hired student leaders as they begin their new roles. This conference is a joint effort put on by student associations from across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. This year, the Congress is being hosted at Mount Allison University from June 1-4.
Delegates will meet other student executives from across the Maritimes, discuss student issues and shared challenges, and participate in training designed to enhance their skills as student leaders. In addition to this, there are information sessions on the history of the student movement, work-life balance, advocacy, policy development, and guest speakers from higher education organizations across Canada.
